Who we are
Welcome to Sail Loyalist. Saint John has a long and storied maritime history, that we feel should be shared with others. From being the arrival point for countless Europeans, to creating some of the fastest sailing ships in the world, there is little Saint John has not done. I created this school to share my passion for sailing with others, and give them the opportunity to enjoy the Saint John river in a safe way. I’m an experienced sailor and racer with over 20 years of tourism experience. I've navigated the stunning waters of Greece as well as the rugged beauty of Spain’s Costa Brava. I enjoy creating memorable, safe, and fun experiences for guests of all levels. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, so you’ll feel right at home aboard!
Our sailing vessel is a beautiful O’Day 34 named Cocomo. She’s very typical of sailing vessels laid down in New England, and is exceptionally safe, rugged, and fun to sail.
